The received proposal was presented by McLeodUSA, the present supplier of Telephone Service to most of the members of the GenNET consortium. This RFP response will be presented to the GenNET board following review by its consultant and technical committee.

The bid consisted of the following price proposal applicable to all GenNET member districts (21 local school districts and Genesee Intermediate School District ).

The bids were opened in a public meeting at GISD on December 6, 2006.  While more than 6 sets of RFP documents were distributed to prospective respondents who requested the documents, only a single proposal was received.
