University Liggett School Telephone Equipment RFP

University Liggett School invites qualified firms to submit proposals / bids for Telephone Equipment. Further, University Liggett School reserves the unrestricted right to reduce the contract amount by reducing the scope of work and/or components in order to meet budget requirements. Unit pricing, as specified in the bid proposal, will be used to control contract adjustments. Any such action will be taken before specific work on a building or on a project component has commenced.

BIDS ARE DUE at 2:00 p.m. local time on May 28, 2009.

University Liggett School will receive sealed proposals for the above project at the University Liggett School, 1045 Cook Road, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48326, Attention: David G. Boring, Associate Head of School – Finance and Operations, until the stipulated bid due date. Bids received after the stipulated due date will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened (bids without a bid bond will be retained for the files and will not be read or evaluated) at a meeting scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on May 28, 2009 at the University Liggett School, 1045 Cook Road, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. Bids must be clearly marked University Liggett School Telephone Equipment RFP. The RFP contains the specific requirements for all bids.  Among the requirements in the RFP are: Provide four (4) complete copies of your response to the RFP including an RFP Compliance Form and a base bid cost summary form. All interested bidders may obtain copies of the RFP, drawings, and specifications from Childs Consulting Associates, Inc., beginning April 30, 2009. A minimum of 5% bid security, either in the form of a bid bond or cashier’s check payable to the University Liggett School , must accompany each bid (see RFP for rules for calculating the bid bond amount).

There will be a pre-bid meeting (required for respondents to Section[s] 17100 / 17200) at University Liggett School , 1045 Cook Road , Grosse Pointe Woods , MI 48236 , on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. The University Liggett School reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.
