WEB SITE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION RFP

Glen Lake Community Schools invites qualified firms to submit proposals / bids for Web Site Design, Development, and Implementation. Optional proposals for Continuing Web Site support and for Web Site hosting are contained in the RFP. The District reserves the unrestricted right to reduce the contract amount by reducing the scope of work and/or components in order to meet budget requirements. Unit pricing, as specified in the bid proposal, will be used to control contract adjustments. Any such action will be taken before specific work on a building or on a project component has commenced.

BIDS ARE DUE at 2:00 p.m. local time on March 2, 2010.

On behalf of the Glen Lake Community Schools, sealed proposals will be received for the above project at the District Office, Glen Lake Community Schools, 3375 W. Burdickville Rd., Maple City, MI 49664-9608; Attention: Joan Groening, Superintendent, until the stipulated bid opening date and time. Bids received after the stipulated date and time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened (bids without a bid bond will be retained for the files and will not be read or evaluated) and read at a public meeting scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on March 2, 2010 at Glen Lake Community Schools, 3375 W. Burdickville Rd., Maple City, MI 49664-9608. Bids must be clearly marked GLEN LAKE WEB SITE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION RFP. The RFP contains the specific requirements for all bids.  Among the requirements in the RFP are: Provide four (4) complete sets (original and 3 copies) of your response to the RFP, including an RFP compliance form and a base bid cost summary form. All interested bidders may obtain copies of the RFP, and specifications from Childs Consulting Associates, Inc., beginning February 9, 2010. Bid documents are available electronically by CLICKING HERE from (www.childs.com/invitations) or by UPS or Federal Express, COD or Receiver Account number, and by pick up at the following address. A minimum of 5% bid security, either in the form of a bid bond or cashier’s check payable to Genesee Intermediate School District , must accompany each bid (see RFP for rules for calculating the bid bond amount).

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, at Glen Lake Community Schools. Written questions submitted prior to the deadline stated in the RFP will be answered at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the due date.

Glen Lake Community Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.
